Your donations will help to create a centre capable of facilitating the following
- Hosting live performances from a range of musical genres.
- Creating a space to encourage film and theatre productions whilst providing a platform for emerging talents to gain exposure and grow.
- Ensuring a fit for purpose library is provided in order to store books, manuscripts and documents that highlights the Caribbean history, traditions and contributions to the world at the same time encouraging community engagement.
- Bringing the culture of the Caribbean islands alive by providing exhibits which tells the history of the Windrush Generation.
- Showcasing the cultural traditions of Carnival and providing a space to design and create the vibrant and colourful costumes.
- Highlight the contributions Caribbean individuals and their descendants have contributed to the world by way of inventions.
- A place for entertainment, celebration of life, wedding receptions, christenings, symbolic services, conferences and other special occasions.
- Supporting the elderly, the keepers of history, culture and traditions, providing a platform for that knowledge to be passed to the younger generation.
- Recognising and honouring our elders’ contributions.
- Strengthening community bonds.
- Providing a space to encourage entrepreneurship within the community.
- Highlighting contributions in art, sports, politics, sciences in order to inspire future generations.
